FOTD August 11 using all my new products! =)

I tried out a few of the items I bought in Hong Kong today even though I'm not going out or anything lol.  I just really wanted to test these out!!

Ok, firstly the Jill Stuart blush blossom smells soooo good.  When I went to put it on this morning the first thing I noticed was how good it smelled!!  BUT, I applied too much of the darker shade at first and it took forever for me to tone the colour back down.

So the Pro's about this new blush is that: it smells amazing, it looks really natural( not chalky, even when I over applied), and its really pigmented.

The Con's about this blush is that: its very easy to over apply since its so pigmented.

The next product is the Lavshuca Gradation Colour Eyes in BR-2.  I love this colour because it looks very sophisticated and neutral, so its easy to match with everything.  Its also super pigmented and easy to blend.  Andd, its not expensive at all!!  I checked the prices on Adam's Beauty, and its identical to the prices I saw in Hong Kong, so you're not over paying if you order from overseas!! =)

Lastly is the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner,  and I really love this liquid eyeliner! The tip is very easy to maneuver  so you won't draw too thick of a line or anything.  I would really recommend this to people who are just starting to learn how to use liquid eye liner.

New Jill Stuart Blush

While I was in Hong Kong, I also got the new Jill Stuart Blush.  I got the colour 01 romantic sweet pea, its a baby pink colour and it goes on really soft and natural.  I love this blush!!!

The rest of my Hong Kong Haul

I got the new Majolica Majorca Mascara, but I didn't think it was as amazing as everyone said it was.  It seemed like a regular mascara and it didn't really even hold my curls that well.  I won't be repurchasing this again.

EOTD using Lavshuca's new eye palette!

I followed the exact instructions on the box and this is how it turned out.  I think its a very natural neutral look.    Really great for this summer =).  Overall I really love this palette and I would recommend others to buy this.

Hong Kong Haul (so far...)

Hey everyone, I've been in HK for about 2 days and I've already bought a ton of stuff.  I'm gonna be so broke by the end of this =S.  But heres what I've got so far. Sorry some of the pics are sideways, I don't know how to turn them around >.<.

Concealer Collection

Yepp, these four are the only concealers I have.  I use the almay one for my under eyes because this is the only concealer that doesn't look cakey on my under eye.  The coverage isn't really heavy, but its really creamy and has a good brightening effect.  I love the lancome concealer for spot concealing, I originally bought the lancome concealer for my under eyes, but the coverage is super heavy so it looked very cakey on my under eye and I had to apply very little for it to look natural.  But this concealer is AMAZING for concealing spots, like soooo amazing.  I could have a really red spot, and I would just dab this on with my fingers and set it with powder and it seriously stays on for the whole day.  The last two maybelline concealers are average, I just use them to conceal redness around my nose.

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder + Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Waterproof Review

I got the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder around mid May so I've used it for about half a month and I've got to say that I LOVE IT!!! =)

 I have super dry skin that flakes a lot, and now that I'm back in Calgary for the summer, my dry skin is even worse here because of the dry weather.  But the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder does not look cakey or flakey on my skin even though its super dry these days.  I love this powder soooo much! It's my new HG foundation!! 5 Starsss =)

Next I got the Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara in Waterproof.  I really wanted to like this mascara, because the packaging was so pretty, but I found that it didn't really do anything to my lashes, not much volumization at all, and even after several coats I didn't see much of a difference.  I still prefer my Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black.
