EOTD using Maybelline Eyestudio Quad in Taupe Temptress

Shoppers was having a sale on their Maybelline Eye Studio Palettes this weekend and since I've been eyeing this for a while I decided to buy it!

It turned out to be less purple than I thought it was gonna be but I still like it.  Its a very winter look that matches well with the kind of weather we've been experiencing here in Vancouver.

Seriously,  Vancouver should not have snow because they don't have the right facilities for it.  Nobody can get anywhere because they're too scared to drive! =P

Concealer Collection

Yepp, these four are the only concealers I have.  I use the almay one for my under eyes because this is the only concealer that doesn't look cakey on my under eye.  The coverage isn't really heavy, but its really creamy and has a good brightening effect.  I love the lancome concealer for spot concealing, I originally bought the lancome concealer for my under eyes, but the coverage is super heavy so it looked very cakey on my under eye and I had to apply very little for it to look natural.  But this concealer is AMAZING for concealing spots, like soooo amazing.  I could have a really red spot, and I would just dab this on with my fingers and set it with powder and it seriously stays on for the whole day.  The last two maybelline concealers are average, I just use them to conceal redness around my nose.
And that's it for my super short post.  I'll be going to Hong Kong very soon so you can expect a huge haul coming up!  Soo excited!

Maybelline Dream Mouse Blush Review

I actually hauled this a while ago, but I haven't had the chance the use it yet since I don't wear makeup much these days since I'm home =P

I got the colour Pink Frosting and it's pretty natural, and gives a very pinky colour

I like to use my Kirkland brush to buff in the product, its super soft and it makes it look really natural.

In this picture, I've dipped my brush in the blush once and buffed in the product, as you can see its very subtle and natural looking.

And in this picture I've applied a few more layers and now its doesn't look as natural but a bit cakey.  So I would recommend people to get this if they want a very subtle glow, cuz if you cake on too much, it won't look so nice anymore =P.  Hope this helps =), and feel free to ask questions!

Maybelline Dream Matte Concealer Review + EOTD March 25

So I bought the Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer a few weeks ago, and I've used it a few times, but I'm not sure how I think of it yet. Some days I like it, some days I think it looks cakey. And since I have dry skin, I sometimes think it makes my skin look even more dry than it already is, but if I'm careful and I put enough eye cream on before applying my concealer then its okay.

And here is my EOTD using the Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer, and the Lavshuca eye palette in BR-1.

My eye does look quite dry doesn't it?
