Majorlica Majorca Puff de Cheeks Review

I LOVE THESE BLUSHERS!!!!
Why?
They don't appear cakey when applied on to the skin (This is really hard for blushers to do on my skin, since I have really dry skin), and the first colour shown above is very natural.  I used it almost everyday in the summer when I was going for the natural look.
Plus I also love the packaging, its soo cute and tiny!  So it doesn't take up a lot of space in your makeup drawer =)

How I apply it?
I use my Sigma F40 (Large Angled Contour) brush (which fits perfectly in the tin) to swirl once for each side of the cheek to give a natural flush.

Therefore, I would absolutely recommend these blushes to people who love natural looking blushers with cute packaging. =)

Aqua Label White Mask Review

So this is the second sheet mask I've ever tried and I think I like it more than the My Beauty Diary White Phalaenopsis Mask.

Why?
I felt that this mask whitened my skin more, and also the liquid the mask was drenched in absorbed more easily into my skin than the My Beauty Dairy Formosa White Phalaenopsis Mask.  It took a shorter time for this mask to be fully absorbed into my face, and also, the next morning my skin felt so nice and hydrated, and also whiter!

It is pricier though, since its a Shiseido brand, so if given a choice, I would probably still buy the My Beauty Diary White Phalaenopsis Mask (only when its on sale for 6.99).

I won a giveaway!! Sigma F80 review

Sorry I've been gone for so long everyone =(.  A lot has happened to me, but I'm back now!  Anddd during this time, I won a giveaway!  My first time winning anything in my whole life lol, so I'm pretty happy about this =).  Thanks so much  for hosting this giveaway!!!

Now on to the review:

First Impression:
After washing it for the first time there was still a slight chemically scent to it but nothing too terrible.  The brush didn't shed at all as expected of synthetic fibers, and it dried pretty fast as well.  It's super soft  and fairly dense.

After Using:
The brush was super soft on my skin and I used it to apply my BB cream from Skin Aqua.  It really did provide a flawless finish, as it said it would.  I tried it using buffing and stippling and I felt that stippling provided more of a flawless finish than buffing, but stippling took longer than buffing, so when I'm in a hurry I would probably buff to save time.

Another thing I noticed after using this brush was that I used more product than usual.  When I was just using my fingers before, I would only need a pea size amount to cover my whole face, but now I run out and have to squeeze out a tiny bit more to cover my whole face.  Also since I have to use more product, I noticed that using the brush to apply BB cream resulted in a heavier finish.  Since I normally don't like to wear too much makeup on my face ( I don't like that heavy feeling of product clogging my pores), I would probably only use this brush for special occasions when I want more coverage.

That's it for now!  I'll be posting more reviews this month about the Majorlica Majorca Puff de Cheeks and Maybelline One by One Mascara soon so stay tuned for it! =)

My Beauty Diary Mask Review: Formosa White Phalaenopsis

I got this mask a few days ago when I spotted it on sale at T&T.  Now, I've never been a mask person, and the only other masks I've used before are the peeling ones with aloe from Shoppers Drug Mart, or the St. Ives Firming Mask, so I'm not really a mask expert =P, but here are my thoughts on this mask!

Packaging:
For a mask, I thought it was packaged quite nicely.  Usually the masks I see are just a square shaped package with words printed on the front, but the flower shape on the top and the pretty print makes it soo much more fancy.  I felt really pampered using such a prettily packaged mask =). (I did feel slightly wasteful when I had to throw the packaging out after using it, it was just too pretty!)

Smell:
It was a pleasant smell, not too over powering or anything, or sickeningly sweet like some beauty products.

Function:
This mask was suppose to whiten and moisturize, but I felt it only whitened my skin and didn't moisturize much.  But since my skin is so difficult to moisturize, I would say that this mask did pretty well since I'm fairly "white" already.

Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, school has been super busy and I also haven't been feeling well =(

I'm excited to do the tags I've been tagged in and for my new followers!  Thanks for following!! =)

More reviews to come since I've purchased a few things from Adams Beauty, and I also bought the Maybelline one by one mascara!

EOTD using Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes in GN-1 and Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara - Waterproof

Hey guys! I finally got around to doing an EOTD with the Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes in GN-1! I actually really love the pigmentation of this palette and the colours go so well together too!  I feel that green is a really hard eyeshadow to pull off for everyday looks, and since I don't like to go too crazy with my makeup,( I like neutral looks that don't draw too much attention, but just enhance my eyes) I was scared to use this palette at first but once I tried it out, I found that its really wearable!  The colours aren't too crazy and the brown and green don't look muddy at all!  Love, love, love this palette! =)

Secondly, the Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara.  I think its an ok mascara in terms of volume, although I found it to be a bit clumpy and not natural enough for my liking.  It did hold my curls all day though, but that may just have been the waterproof formula.  Therefore, my HG is still the Loreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black.

And thats it for now!  Schools starting to get crazy again with midterms and many assignments all at once!  So  hopefully I'll be able to blog more during reading break! =)

TAG: 2010 Beauty Favorites

I was tagged by Julianne to do this tag. =)  Thanks for tagging me! I love doing tags =D.

Which lipstick / lipgloss did you use most often in 2010?
I don't use lipsticks or lipgloss much because my lips are already pretty pigmented.  But when I do use lip products, I prefer lipsticks because I don't like how lipglosses are so sticky.  The ones I reach for most often are Lancome's Vintage Rose, and Revlon's Rose and Shine.

What was your favorite eyeshadow this year?
I love switching up my eyeshadow colours according to my outfit, but I found the palettes I reach for the most are the Lavshuca Melting Eyes in RD-1 and the Lavshuca Gradation Colour Eyes in BR-2 because they give the best neutral looks that will go with any outfit! =)

What product for the complexion (foundation, blush, etc.,) did you use the most?
Definitely the Jill Stuart Mix Blush Compact in 02 rose bloom, this is my go to blush, it goes with almost every eye look.

Your favorite nail polish color of 2010?
I didn't really use nail polish in 2010 because I was too busy =(.

Which skin care product would you not give up under any circumstances?

Probably the Hydro-Nourishing Softener from Shiseido The Skincare line.  I use this product everyday because my skin is so dry, without it my skin would peel =(.  I've actually been looking for something to replace this with though since its so expensive =S. No luck yet. =P

What is your favorite personal care product?
I really like using nail buffers, that way my nails can still look nice even if I don't have time to paint my nails. =)

Your usually worn fragrance in 2010?
If I'm feeling "vintagy" I would wear the Moroccan Rose eau de toilette from The Body Shop, but for just everyday I would just use the body spray from bodycology in cherry blossom.

Cherry Blossom body spray
What was your personal favorite jewelry piece?
I actually don't really like to wear jewelry much so yea... nothing to put here.

What have you discovered in 2010 that is new for you (new products, inspirations, blogs, hobbies, etc.,)?
Fashion blogs, they have inspired me to dress up =).

Do you have resolutions for 2011? If so, what are they?
Spend more time praying, and learn to relax a little?  I'm way too stressed most of the time, I don't know how to relax, sigh.

Tag other people:
I tag anyone who wants to do this! Since I don't want anyone to feel left out =).

Shirt- Zara
Jeans- Forever 21
Shoes- also my moms =P
Also, I cut my hair during the break, I kinda miss my old hair tho =P.

EOTD using Visee Blossom Eyes in BL-3

I had high hopes for this palette because I didn't have any blue palettes but unfortunately the color payoff isn't that good.  Oh well, at least the packaging is really pretty.  Maybe if I use a base with it, the colors might show up better?

Thats it for now =P.  Stay tuned for an EOTD featuring the Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes in GN-1!
